Now that code has been loaded on each core and each subsystem is halted at main, it is time to take a look at some of the dual core debug capabilities that are available in Code Composer for the Concerto family of devices. Normally, Code Composer supports start, stop, restart, and step operations. These can all be performed on a single individual core anytime by selecting that core in the debug window. But in addition to these capabilities, Code Composer also has dual core software debug capabilities that allow starting, stopping, stepping, any of these operations to occur on both cores almost simultaneously. It is almost simultaneously because all of these operations are implemented in software, there will be some latency between when the action takes place on each of the cores.
