Those familiar with the C2000 device previously will be completely at home writing software for the Control subsystem. Almost everything in ControlSUITE for the Control Sub-system is the same as with previous devices. For instance, register access is identical to a Piccolo device using that structure register access mechanism. Special function libraries and peripheral drivers are also largely the same, with a few exceptions. There is also the Viterbi, Complex Math, and CRC Unit, which will be covered on the next slide.
