The Capacitive Touch Sensing library is one of the key differentiators that make this development kit one of a kind. There are four main pieces to the library itself: configuration, HAL, Capacitive Touch layer, and the application layer. The customers will interact with the configuration and application layers. The library is modular in nature and has the ability to build from the top or the bottom. It is possible to build from the bottom by adding to the HAL, as well as building from the top by adding components such as complex sensors. The Capacitive Touch layer includes the APIs associated with the Capacitive Touch Sensor module. The abstraction is greater when going from left to right. Finally the HAL includes various configurations based upon IO, peripherals, and power requirements. It is also the basis for the configuration.
