The release of CoolSplice New Standard Connectors is intended to be a direct replacement for the current CoolSplice, the 293545 series, as it has 20% lower price level. The CoolSplice New Standard Connector is a 2-position wire-to-wire IDC connector that is suitable with both stranded and solid wires. TE part numbers are 2213800-1 to -4. The -1 and -2 are for 18 AWG and the -3 and -4 are for smaller wire size 20 and 22 AWG. The products are offered in both standard and sealed version which can be distinguished by color of the buttons; green for the standard version and blue for the sealed version. The current rating of the product is 3.5 A – 5 A Max at 450 VAC/DC according to UL 1977.
