Another Total Cost of Ownership model that showcases Swissbit’s lower TCO is displayed on this slide. Industrial applications generally only allow for a limited number of re-qualifications. Swissbit’s solid state drive solutions utilize components that guarantee the longest possible product lifetime, thus limiting the number of re-qualifications required within the life of the application. When a re-qualification is necessary Swissbit provides a lengthy PCN window to allow the customer to complete the re-qualification. As shown on the slide, Swissbit’s X-55 and X-500 SSD solutions have an expected generation life time of three to five years respectively, while consumer or enterprise SSD’s have a re-qualification window of less than a year. When evaluating the Total Cost of Ownership over the required life-time of an SSD in an industrial application, it is clear Swissbit solid state drive solutions provide a significant longevity benefit over a consumer or enterprise SSD. This means the TCO of a Swissbit solution is significantly lower over the life of the SSD in the application.
