No installation is needed on devices supporting the S.M.A.R.T. self monitoring feature. Only an EXE file, plus a device database file is required. The devices that support S.M.A.R.T. are Compact Flash, CFast, Solid State Drives, United Contrast 1 and 2 and miniTWIST USB drives.
