Shown on this slide is an example of a potential application for the RGLL/RGVP series chip resistors. In this amplifier, the output voltage, Vo, is strictly decided by the ratio of R1 and R2. The TCR is important if this is in an environment where temperature fluctuates. If this were a power management IC or power converter, where the circuit would generate a significant amount of heat, the RGLL/RGVP, whose TCR is only ±2 ppm/°C, would be ideal resistors especially when precise control is required.
