For off-line applications, we typically run off a wall socket either in the US or European mains. Designs that work from these voltages are typically referred to as universal mains and operate from voltages between 85 to 265 volts RMS. The designs are fully capable of meeting the Class 1 FCC requirements and UL requirements. Although we have not qualified the boards, the boards are laid out to be fully compliant with FCC and UL requirements. The number of the LEDs that can be driven by any one of the boards depends on the power output and the output voltage level which is determined by the number of LEDs in series, as we’ll see in the following slides.
