The Si7005’s high level of integration reduces cost, simplifies design and shortens development time. No time or cost is incurred for calibration. All signal processing is internal. No timer or analog-to-digital (A/D) converter resources are needed on the host MCU, and there is virtually no circuit design; the entire BOM is just two bypass capacitors.
