factors

There are three general factors that will prolong a fan’s life. The first factor is reducing the temperature of the motor windings and the fan bearings. Areas to be considered with this are: reducing the heat generation inside the fan, isolating heat within the fan, and dissipating heat away from the fan. The second factor is improving the quality of the grease and bearing, such as changing the cage material, making the bearings larger, making the bearings material tougher, and improving the grease. The third general factor involves reducing the amount of load on the bearing from the fan impeller assembly.
