Product List
The ever-growing number of features in automobiles have resulted in electronic modules being placed in all available locations. For example, a tire pressure monitor may see more vibration than a radio, while a module in front of the firewall would see higher temperatures. Generally, electronic modules in automobiles will see greater stress when compared to most commercial consumer electronic products. Since passive components are used in every electronic circuit, they must withstand exposure to stress from temperature, vibration, and thermal shock. Because of this, the electronic components must meet greater reliability and performance requirements. In some cases, the components must be “fail safe.” These factors are considered when developing automotive grade components.
