The advantages of ROHM‘s EMARMOUR™ op amps are explained here. The figures shown are examples of a current detection application, comparing a conventional op amp with ROHM’s EMARMOUR op amp. This circuit amplifies the voltage generated when a current flows through a shunt resistor. In the case of the conventional op amp, the input signal and external noise are amplified. This can cause unexpected malfunctions in the system. However, the EMARMOUR op amp amplifies only the expected signal, ensuring stable operation as it is not affected by external noise.
