BD9673EFJ/BD9876EFJ can provide up to 3A of output current at the required output voltage. These devices also provide high input voltage range, which can be as high as 45V and as low as 7V, and have built in power MOSFET with low RDS on to reduce the number of external components required for the application circuit.  A 1V internal reference is used in the error amplifier circuit to minimize the components needed for setting the output voltage. The equation for setting output voltage is (R1+R2/R2). The output voltage can be set anywhere from 1V to a maximum of VCC x 0.7V.
