Looking at the main functionality of the Renesas RA4W1, it is a 130nm low power process technology, with a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 with floating point. With an operation range of between 1.8V and 3.6V, it is ideal for a wide range of IoT application products. The RA4W1 is equipped with many features, such as an 8 channel 14-bit analog-to-digital converter, making it ideal to host multiple sensors with high accuracy. The state of the art Secure Crypto Engine in this device provides advanced key management. In terms of HMI support, it has one of the best in class Capacitive touch technology and segment LCD controller. Memory characteristics include 512kB embedded code FLASH, 8kB of Data FLASH and 96kB of SRAM. It has support for Bluetooth® 5.0 and other various communication features, such as USB Full Speed and CAN, four SCI interfaces, two SPI interfaces, and two I2C interfaces. All of these specifications are offered in a single 56-pin QFN package.
