The RA2L1 MCUs offer best-in class low-power capability. The normal operating current can be as low as 64 μA/MHz while operating in the DC/DC mode. In software standby mode, which reduces the power consumption to the lowest level possible, the RA2L1 MCUs achieve 250 nA and 360 nA with the RTC running. On top of that, RA2L1 MCUs can quickly wake up from software standby mode in just 4.8 μs. The RA2L1 MCUs combine those three key factors which enable the designer to achieve extremely low average system current.
