Reducing the amount of heat created during voltage conversion reduces the cooling measures needed in the power supply; therefore, smaller heat sinks can be used and the spaces between components can be optimized. All of these aspects make it possible for PULS to achieve a higher power density and industry leading form factors in their power supply designs.
