Product List
The LinkZero-AX device will still provide power in the off-mode. Even while main switching is disabled, the bypass pin provides a regulated 4 V output that can source up to 500 µA. This provides a constant local auxiliary supply that can be used to power systems when the main appliance is in standby. For example, this supply could be used to power a motion sensor in a security system or an infrared remote control sensor for a TV. During normal operation, some of the bypass pin power is used to operate the LinkZero-AX device itself, so the bypass pin can only provide 85 µA. If more power is needed, it can be supplied from the output rail or through a separate bias winding on the transformer.
