The AN3018 series was developed for various kinds of mobile devices in which power is supplied by battery or USB. Its applications continue to spread across other various products like smart phones, SSD and data storage. Not all products include an LDO, but AN30182 has 2-channels of DC/DC converters and 6-channels of LDOs controlled by I2C interface. All of the function blocks are in small 2.2 x 2.2 mm wafer level chip sized package. It is suitable as a power management IC for small scale systems, for example, it can be used in the PMIC block for a camera in a smart phone.
