OMRONs latest small package is the MOSFET VSON relay.  These new models offer a 50% decrease in bottom surface compared to USOP.  This new relay series can be utilized in applications which require small size and space saving on bottom surface, such as in the test and measurement industry. Aside from the compact size, the VSON package offers models available from 20 V to 100 V with good solder ability with a performance on par with the SSOP/USOP packages. In addition to the test and measurement industry target applications include: security systems, broadband systems, industrial equipment, battery powered equipment and amusement machines.
