Shown on this slide are Omron’s low signal relay main families. The G6K family is a flat surface mounting relay with one of the smallest mounting areas available, ratings of 1 A at 30 VDC, 2 A (carry), 0.3 A at 125 VAC, coil power consumption as low as 100 mW, small size at 10 mm x 5.4 mm x 6.5 mm, and high dielectric strength at 1500 VAC. This family meets FCC part 68 and Telcordia 2.5 kV surge withstand regulations. Latching and non-latching models are available.
The G6S family is a high capacity DPDT low signal relay available in through hole and SMT terminals, ratings of 2 A at 30 VDC, 0.5 A at 125 VAC, coil power consumption as low as 140 mW, with latching and non-latching models available, and their form/fit/function makes for easy cross referencing. This family has a physical size of 14.8 mm x 7.3 mm x 9.2 mm and they meet FCC part 68 and Telcordia 2.5kV surge withstand regulations.
The G6J family is an compact slim DPDT relay that is ideal for high density mounting, offering a 56 % reduction in mounting area compared to G6S. Latching and non-latching models are available. Coil consumption options available in 140 or 230 mW with through hole and surface mount options available. This family has ratings of 1 A at 30 VDC, 0.3 A @ 125 VAC and conforms to FCC part 68 and UL60950 with a dielectric strength of 1500 VAC.
The G5V-1 family are miniature, highly sensitive SPDT relays for signal circuits. This family has a wide switching power of 1 mA to 1 A with a highly sensitive coil consumption of 150 mW. They conform to the FCC part 68 standard and have SPDT contacts.
The G5V-2 family has general purpose DIL terminal layouts with a DPDT circuit. They have a wide switching power of 10 µA to 2 A. Additionally, this family is fully sealed and standardized with bifurcated crossbar contacts. They conform to FCC 68 with a high dielectric strength at 1000 VAC. High sensitivity coils available.
