MOSFET relays have straight characteristics of load current vs load voltage, similar to mechanical relays shown here in Fig.1. Compared to other technologies such as Phototriacs or Photocouplers, MOSFET relays offer the best signal with no distortion. Therefore, MOSFET relays are suitable for switching Analog and low level signals.
