The total efficiency of a DC brushless fan is the product of the efficiencies of the drive electronics, motor and aerodynamics. The NMB R and F series design strategy was to maximize the efficiency of each of these energy conversion elements while ensuring optimal balance between them. The results is a fan range with an exceptionally high efficiency, which translates to greater system cooling capability for lower power consumption.
