In configuration 3 here, the PNP and NPN RET are used to build a push-pull stage. In configuration 4, the RET is used to realize a logic gate; in this case, for example, the high voltage NOR logic. There are two NPN RETs connected to the same load enabling a high voltage NOR logic to be built, which is connected directly to the battery up to 80 V. In configuration 5, the NPN RET is used to switch a PNP RET, thereby making it possible to realize a level shifter with a very high voltage. This is the advantage compared to standard logic devices because they cannot go up to 80 V.
