Resistor-equipped transistors offer an integrated solution that enables the reduction of handling cost, pick-and-place costs, simplification, and space-saving options on circuit design. The decision to freely choose between single or double RETs is influenced by the current and power dissipation requirements and circuit design specifications such as push-and-pull stage requirements, thereby offering flexibility and options to customers. RETs are available in many voltage, current, and resistance values in NPN or PNP configuration, and a variety of packages including SOT23, SOT323, and SOT363. Nexperia offers two types of RETs: performance-based 600 mA 40 V RETs and standard devices, which are available as 50 V devices and 80 V parts which have recently been uprated, primarily to cope with 48 V automotive systems. All these products are within the automotive AECQ-101 qualified portfolio.
