This slide illustrates the IM3 level at different output powers of MACOM’s MAAP-011139, a 4-watt power amplifier, versus three alternative 4-watt parts offered by competitors. At an IM3 level of -30 dBc, the MAAP-011139-DIE has an output power of 28 dBm per tone. At the same level of -30 dBc, the three competing alternatives average an output power per tone of 23 or perhaps 23.5 dBm. The MAAP-011139 demonstrates twice the linearity and can replace two equivalent competing alternatives with a single device, providing additional efficiency benefits to the customer.
