The MAAP-011139 is a 4-watt power amplifier operating in the 29 to 31 GHz frequency range. It features high gain and power added efficiency, and twice the linear performance as competing alternatives. MACOM’s MAAP-011139 is offered in both bare die format and a 5x5 mm 32-lead QFN package. The device delivers 24 dB of linear gain, 4-W of saturated output power, and 23% efficiency. It provides greater than 29 dBm Pout/tone while maintaining IM3 levels of -27 dBc. This 2x linearity performance allows the MAAP-011139 to replace two equivalent competing alternatives with a single device while operating in an overall more efficient mode.
