MACOM’s MADP-030015 and MADP-017015 devices are silicon, glass PIN diode surmount chips with a 1MHz to 6,000MHz frequency range. These devices feature two silicon pedestals embedded in a low loss, low dispersion glass, along with low parasitic capacitance and induction, and high average and peak power handling. The MADP-030015 and MADP-017015 have resistance of 0.7 Ohms and 1 Ohm respectively. The MADP-030015 device achieves a CW power dissipation of 11.5W and has a lifetime of 2,800nS, while the MADP-017015 has a CW power dissipation of 5W, and a lifetime of 2,300nS. The performance graph on the right-hand side shows both product's capacitance Vs. voltage. The MADP-030015 and MADP-017015 are targeted for aerospace and defense and ISM applications.
