The HOYL is the larger of the two products, with a 40 mm by 13 mm rectangular aperture, an overall size of 70 mm by 42 mm and includes a bus bar mounting tab. The HOYL is available in nominal primary current ratings from 200 A to 800 A_RMS, measuring up to 2000 A peak. The HOYL is available with 5 V or 3.3 V unipolar power supply operation, and has 1% accuracy at room temperature. The over-current detection is factory-configured for 2.93 times the nominal rating and the OCD output has a 2 μs reaction time.
