The POWR1220AT8 can replace 12 voltage monitor/supervisors with a very accurate 0.2% programmable supervisors. The input monitors can be programmed to monitor any voltage between 0.67V and 5.7V in any of 384 steps. It has six dedicated digital inputs that can be used to monitor signals such as a reset or watchdogs. It has another 20 digital I/O open drain pins that can be configured as inputs or outputs to communicate with the system such as resets or sequencing enables. Four of the digital I/Os can be configured as high voltage MOSFET drivers. The onboard 8MHz oscillator can be divided down by four timers that enable delays and pulse stretching of signals. The inputs, outputs and CPLD are programmed through a JTAG interface. The POWR1220AT8 also has a ADC and I²C interface allowing for accurate measurement of any of the 10 input voltages. A 8-Bit DAC allows the POWR1220AT8 to generate control signals that can be used to trim or margin power supplies.
