The OEM Configuration Utility is available on the CD which is included in the purchase of a ConnexLink or it is available for download on the Ezurio website. It is recommended that users download the version from the website to ensure they have the latest version. The first time the software is started, the user will be prompted to select a product and the software will be opened on the PC Settings tab. The PC Settings tab is used to configure the OEM Configuration Utility software itself, not the radio. The OEM Configuration Software can communicate to two radios on two different comm ports. Each comm port is identified in the Port 1 or Port 2 settings on the PC Settings tab. The user should select the appropriate product from the drop down list. ConnexLinks are abbreviated with the prefix “Connex”. Once a product is selected, the user should select the Find Ports button to have the software search Windows for all available comm ports. Once the search is complete the user should select the appropriate comm port from the drop down list and the baud rate that the radio is currently configured to. Finally, the user should verify that the port status is “Open” in the status bar at the bottom of the software.
