The first graph shows the capacitance vs temperature for different ceramic dielectrics and film dielectrics. The polyester PET and PEN films have a positive capacitance drift per temperature increase. The X7R MLCC has a negative capacitance drift. The PPS film is very stable and very close to C0G performance. The graph on the right shows the capacitance change vs DC Bias voltage. The DC bias effect in X7R can reduce the capacitance significantly and allow for less capacitance values of a film solution.
