The Snap-In selection rated at 85°C offers voltage ranging from 35 – 550 VDC, high ripple current, low ESR, and excellent surge capability with very long life, up to 18,000 hours, VR, IR applied. The 85°C rated ALC10S and ALN20S with slit foil technology and very long life, provides up to 18,000 hours has been developed specifically for audio applications. The ALC10S is a patented design which eliminates circulating currents in the aluminium foils. This spurious current flow on the capacitor plates is known to occur, but is not apparent in most applications. The ALN20S, T- Network capacitor’s main advantage lies in its ability to reduce the effect of unwanted resistance and inductance, placing the signal closer to the pure capacitance of the component. The Snap-In selection rated at 105°C has voltage ranging from 25 – 500 VDC, high ripple current, low ESR construction, and very long life, up to 14,000 hours, VR, IR applied. The PEH526 series, rated at 125°C, has a voltage range from 25-80 VDC, high temperature and high ripple capability, high vibration resistance, up to 20 g, and long life, up to 4,000 hours, with VR, IR applied. The E series is a general purpose Snap-In with voltage ranging from 6.3-500 VDC and long life of up to 2,000 hours. The ELH is rated for 85°C and the ELG is rated for 105°C. KEMET can also optimize the capacitor construction to offer an application specific balance between required life, temperature, ripple current, physical size, and cost.
