Honeywell Zephyr™ Digital Airflow Sensors meet a very high ±2.5% accuracy rating, which is industry leading. These ASIC-based sensors are customizable and can be calibrated to meet specific customer needs. These are highly sensitive devices which can detect the presence or absence of airflow at very low flows. Designed with high stability, these sensors reduce errors due to thermal effects and the effects of time on the sensor to limit any null or span shifts. Another important factor is the inherent low pressure drop which is important in medical and industrial applications to allow the system to operate at its lowest possible flow rate. It also reduces the noise and wear on other components of the system. Additionally, Honeywell Zephyr™ Digital Airflow Sensors offer a linear output, making them easy to integrate, often reducing the customers’ production costs and integration time because they do not have to linearize the output on their own.
