OmniOn Power’s Hammerhead series in the 1” x 1” footprint is the SHHD family. As with all Hammerhead converters, the 1” x 1” package offers a wide input range from 18 V to 75 V with a potential output of 3.3 V, 5 V, or 12 V. This converter module has exceptional efficiency and thermal de-rating performance. These parts are offered in both surface mount and tape and reel versions, and are reflow compatible for use in manufacturing pick and place assembly. These converters are used in applications related to wireless networks, hybrid power architectures, optical and access network equipment, enterprise networks including Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE), as well as many industrial markets.
