EDAC’s waterproof wire-to-wire and wire-to-board family is designed for both extreme moisture and non-submersion applications, supporting both low-level signal and power applications up to 12A and 300V.  EDAC offers five series in the waterproof product family. The 565 and 566 series series feature silicone rubber gaskets and pre-installed internal seals in their all-in-one plugs and receptacles. Series 567, 568, and 570 all require individual loose wire seals. The waterproof series come in pitch sizes ranging from 2.0mm to 5.08mm and are available in a range of wire sizes, accommodating wire from 28 to 14 AWG with either thin or standard wire insulation. An operating temperature range of -40° to 105°C is reflected across the entire family. The material for the housings across all series is PBT (UL94V-O) and for the PCB headers it is PBT with glass (UL94V-O). The accepted PCB thickness for the 565, 566, and 570 series is 1.6mm.
