In addition to single winding inductors, Cooper Bussmann also offers dual winding inductors in four different models, consisting of two standard footprints with several height options. The dual winding option allows for flexibility in selecting inductance, current, and DCR parameters because the windings can be configured in series, parallel, or used in coupled inductor modes. Dual windings offer versatility for boost or buck converters, or for filter applications. The dual inductor configuration can be used in inductively coupled power conversion topologies such as SEPIC, flyback, or 1:1 isolation transformers. The DRQ73 and DRQ74 are 7.6 x 7.6 mm with heights of 3.55 mm and 4.45 mm. The DRQ125 and DRQ127 are 12.5 x 12.5 mm packages in heights of 6.0 mm and 8.0 mm.
