For a variety of handheld instruments used in electro-surgery, C&K offers its double action K12 key switch as well as its flagship KSC tact switch series. The K12 has the proper two-stroke tactile feel that surgeons require during a procedure, can be sealed to IP67, and comes in both illuminated and non-illuminated versions. For electro-surgical cutting instruments, the KSC series tact switch and ED series dome switch are frequently used. Both are sealed to IP67 and rated for a minimum of 1 million cycles. For snap-acting switches used to actuate surgical staplers, C&K offers the ZMA series rated up to 3 A and up to 300 K cycles. If rocker switches are required for power control of critical care equipment, C&K offers the D and DA series, rated from 4 A up to 16 A. Both have snap in retention features for easy mounting.
