For control of modern hearing aids, C&K offers a full line of miniature and ultra-miniature tact switches. The KMR6 series measures 4.2 mm x 2.8 mm and is sealed to IP67. The KMT0 series comes in a 3 mm x 2.6 mm footprint is sealed to IP68 and is rated for 1 million cycles. The KXT3 series measures 3 mm x 2 mm and is rated to 500 K cycles. If a double action tact switch is required, C&K’s KXT2 series has a miniature footprint of 3.9 mm x 3 mm and comes with two actuation forces of 100 grams and 200 grams to help differentiate between the first and second actuation. When miniature slide switches are needed, C&K smallest switches include the PCM series with a footprint of 6.7 mm x 4.1 mm and the AYZ series with a footprint of 7.2 mm x 4 mm (side actuation). C&K’s slide switch offering comes with a number of different switching configurations and is generally rated for between 10 K and 15 K cycles.
