The aMLC (advanced MLC) NAND is a NAND technology that utilizes advanced firmware technology to transfer NAND Flash from four states MLC into two states which enhances the overall performance of the NAND cell. More cell vibration margins result in larger program/erase cycles and better data retention. This results in end products from ATP in most standard Flash form factors that have performance closer to an SLC based product, but at closer to MLC price points.
