QTouch - Create Touch Applications Slide 7
The QTouch Library is a collection of tested and verified library files which allow the designer to add touch capabilities to an application with a minimum amount of code writing. The library itself takes care of all of the touch sensing; the only thing that has to be configured is how many buttons, sliders and wheels are needed, and which IO pins are required for touch sensing. Once the code is written, the designer will include the library file that fits the respective microcontroller and press compile. QTouch functionality will then automatically be linked into the application. The QTouch Library is available for both IAR and GCC compilers and the API is identical for all versions, regardless of what Microchip ARM controller is used. To simplify the start-up process, Microchip offers a full set of example projects to give the designer a good starting point for writing code.
