The Microchip Wireless Software Library is designed to kick-start customers to evaluate and develop their proprietary wireless solutions. The library contains low level drivers for the AT86RF23X family of transceivers and the ATmegaXXXRFA/ATmegXXXRFR family of System on Chip (SoC) products. Designers can also choose to include the MAC portion of the library designing wireless networks compliant to the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. A set of sample applications are also provided ranging from performance test applications to basic sensor networks and secure remote control applications. The library is available free of charge and can be downloaded from www.atmel.com/wireless.
