Guide to PCB Layout Slide 2

A good layout starts with a good schematic. The schematic is the blueprint for the PCB layout. It's important to be thoughtful of schematic flow and content and always include as much information as possible. Notes that include tolerance and case size should be included on the schematic. The default units for resistance and capacitance and the highest reference designator used are a few examples of what could be contained in the notes section.
