Isolated switching regulators based on iCoupler technology offer many advantages when compared to other approaches. The design task is greatly simplified compared to optocoupler-based approaches because loop compensation is integrated. Performance and speed are also improved since iCoupler technology is inherently faster and does not suffer from CTR degradation.
