Shown here is a sample image of various ways an RF connector can be mounted to a PCB board. The surface mount and edge mount (also referred to as end-launch) connectors are soldered on the surface of the PCB. Surface mount connectors are soldered to printed circuit boards using a reflow technique. Through hole mounts are inserted through plated holes on the PCB and are soldered using a wave solder technique also.
