The A17700 is usually placed near a resistive bridge located on the membrane or MEMS IC providing the output of resistive bridge. The A17700 corrects for non-linearity of the transducer over the temperature range. Then the input signal from a Wheatstone bridge is amplified and compensated over temperature to provide a 12-bit output in analogue or digital mode (PWM / SENT). For signal optimization, the A17700 trimming is done in two steps: first the Analogue trim where the Front end gain and offset are adjusted before the ADC. The second is Digital trim: where Poly (4,4) coefficients are calculated based on a transducer response profile over temperature and programmed to the device for compensation.
