This slides describes the basic inspection cycle of the WISE-2410. To better understand the values being measured and collected here is a list and definitions: RMS: Root Mean Square, this relates to the power of the wave profile, or how violently something is vibrating. Kurtosis: measures the “peakedness” of a vibration signal. The Crest Factor (CF) is how much impact is happening (CF uses RMS in part of its calculation). The skewness is the long tails on the left or right side of the data distribution and can help the engineer predict a fault.
