WISE-EdgeLink is an edge software pre-installed in Advantech’s gateway to handle the data collection and to push data to the cloud server, database, and SCADA system. It collects the device information by a specific protocol (such as Modbus) and converts it into an IoT protocol (such as OPC UA or MQTT) to adapt to the user’s chosen management system. It offers a built-in data connection to the SCADA and cloud systems such as Azure or AWS. It also ensures the security mechanisms and provides intelligent event notification functions.
