Coin, 11.6mm Batteries Non-Rechargeable (Primary)

Non-rechargeable (Primary) battery cells are electrochemical storage devices designed to be discarded when depleted. These single use cells produce energy from a non-reversible chemical reaction when placed under load and have stable long-term energy storage characteristics. Primary cells are typically less expensive than a similarly rated rechargeable (secondary) type. Some primary battery types, such as alkaline, are prone to leak and corrode over time especially when in a depleted state.
