Pimoroni CodeBug Programmable Board | Maker Minute

The Pimoroni CodeBug is a programmable board designed to introduce people of all ages to electronics. CodeBug’s online IDE is based on Blockly, letting users program with colorful drag and drop blocks instead of writing lines of code. The board uses a PIC18F MCU and has a 5 by 5 grid of individually addressable red LEDs. Six terminals provide power, ground, and four IOs that can be used as touch sensors or connected to lights, switches, sensors or other peripherals, and a separate header includes serial interfaces and allows CodeBug to be plugged onto a Raspberry Pi. The CodeBug is ideal for wearables, digital crafts, games, and messaging.
