Particle presents their Argon Development Kit. This powerful Wi-Fi enabled kit can serve as either a standalone Wi-Fi endpoint or as a Wi-Fi enabled gateway for Particle Mesh networks. It’s well suited for connecting projects to the Particle Device Cloud or acting as a gateway for connecting an entire group of local endpoints. The kit includes a breadboard, a 2.4 gigahertz antenna, a USB cable, and a starter project that includes two resistors, a photodiode, and one LED. BLE and NFC features are also available, allowing users to create Particle applications that interact with mobile devices and integrate with off-the-shelf BLE sensors and other BLE accessories. Suitable applications include home automation projects, plant soil monitoring, smart leak detection systems, and many others.
